But, I'm seeing Saxon in April, and as much of a 'metalhead' i am, I have never listened to Saxon...
Any fans tell me about 10 tracks which are their best/likely to play live and I'll get a friend to burn me them onto cd...I will buy something before I go, alas I want to hear them NOW.!!! |

| That recent concerts thread made me miss the fact that this is in the wrong section, Eyesore, why the hell is that thread in here? |

| I'll look out for it, Stefan. I listened to some samples and Denim and Leather is a great song! Cheesy stupidity at it's best! |

These are all certainties (or very close) to be played:
Motorcycle Man
Power & The Glory
Denim & Leather
Wheels of Steel
20,000 Feet
747 (Strangers in the Night)
See the Light Shining
Strong Arm of the Law
Heavy Metal Thunder
Princess of the Night
plus they'll most likely play some newer stuff
Lionheart
Witchfinder General
Dragon's Lair
Killing Ground
Metalhead
(they won't play all of those but grab a few)
Edit:
Point 1 - If your gonna buy something other than a best of, I'd suggest you have a look for The Wheels of Steel/Strong Arm of the Law double pack (be very careful with best ofs - Saxon did a lot shite songs from the mid eighties to the mid nineties).
Point 2 - Why isn't this in the Heavy/Power/Prog forum? |

No Petey's saying he's a poser 'cause he's never listened to Saxon. And he's right. |
