Inserting a disclaimer before talking shit doesn't really cut it, sorry... often times "it's just a joke" is a thinly-veiled excuse to espouse your true feelings, without the .annoying resulting backlash.
You don't like a certain genre, fine... next topic. |

Joking around and being sarcastic is not the same as being a comedian. Plus, I've said it like 4 times in like 9 months. Hardly a reason for me to even be justifying it against claims that I'm some sort of asshole. |

I was talking about the fact that in the past couple of days I've been having to defend myself against claims that I'm a "prick" and whatnot to seemingly new members of the board. I shouldn't have to do that. I didn't make such quick judgements against others when I joined in April.
I actually think black metal sucks, but I've heard very little of it so I make no judgement on the genre as a whole, thus a short quip here and there is simply a joke and no reason—like I just said—for me to have to defend my comments. |
