Has anyone heard this band? I saw them on Sentinel Steel the other day and checked out the link and was very impressed. I found myself coming back to the site twice today to listen to the songs here. This is some awesome traditional doom metal in the Candlemass/Solitude Aeturnus vein! I'm definitely going to be picking up their shit. Check out these clips:

ALL SOUL'S DAY - A BREATH FROM THE DEATH
ALL SOUL'S DAY - THE MOURNING
ALL SOUL'S DAY - I FEEL YOU INSIDE ME
ALL SOUL'S DAY - A MORTAL DAY
ALL SOUL'S DAY - AT THE BELL TOLL...
ALL SOUL'S DAY - ...FOREVER
ALL SOUL'S DAY - THE SINNER
ALL SOUL'S DAY - ANCIENT
ALL SOUL'S DAY - BEAUTIFUL DREAM
ALL SOUL'S DAY - I BURN
ALL SOUL'S DAY - ENIGMA
ALL SOUL'S DAY - VICTORY LIFE

ALL SOUL'S DAY - A BREATH FROM THE DEATH (Full Song)

a) epic doom is arguably different from traditional doom but that sounds like a debate we'd have to hold on planet Semantics.

b) that A Breath from the Death track is incredibly annoying, somehow.. there's a gap between the guitars and the bass which is unsettling, and the guitar parts go on for longer than you'd expect and deny you traditional cadences.. I'm not sure if I like that or not but it's kind of cool.

My knowledge of doom is rather limited, I probably get the sub-genres mixed up all the time. I don't know. I don't think I'm hearing what you're hearing on that track, I've had the full MP3 on loop for about 15 minutes now and I think it kicks ass. I love the last two minutes of it.

These are all clips, so they very well may have pulled the best parts from each song and posted them. It happens. I'm definitely impressed, though.
