K so i know i knew about them for a long time, but never actually heard anything from them, yeah what a shame. For a long time after the split up, you couldnt even get theyre albums anymore, thanks to Metalblade for re-releasing them. I finally got A Social Grace and Into The EverFlow, first thing that comes to mind was early Fates Warning, but of course that doesnt do them much justice, theyre's not one band since them that sounds like PW, never have and probably never will.

Psychedelic mixed in with some insane riffs, amazingly interesting, course Buddy Lackey aka Devon Graves with Dead Soul Tribe, that guy is amazing on these albums, i can really see now what was all the rave about. Lyrics very dark but i can find some very powerful poetry in the songwriting, genius might be a word to describe theyre music, looking at it, and in the years they were released, why in the hell didnt this band get the credit they deserve, what the hell happened, would they ever? This was progressive metal at its most creative and intellectual stage. No doubt about that.

Just thoughts on this band that comes to mind, i took me a while to appreciate the music, but it was worthwhile. I was wondering what you guys think about them?

great band

they started quite thrashy and turned more and more prog through their career... I have yet to hear a mediocre album from PW... very underrated prog metal band, probably my fav.. imo they kicked DT or FW's fat asses damn easily... another good band that didn't get the success they deserved :(

I'd be very curious to hear their early side-project End Amen ( http://www.metal-archives.com/band.php?id=2548 ), does anyone heard it ?

Haven't heard them yet, but I'm always on the lookout for their CDs. I love Dead Soul Tribe, so I have faith that Psychotic Waltz will kick ass!!

I've heard their stuff, and I'd take Jon Arch era Fates Warning over them any day. They're still pretty good though, at least on the thrashier albums.

Can someone give me some info on this band? I just downloaded a bunch of their releases and they're fucking awesome! They sound a lot like Dead Soul Tribe, at least the Bleeding album. But holy shit, this is great stuff!

So, has any of their early stuff been re-released and remastered? Anyone know where I can pick this stuff up??

Thanks.
