How? |
The richness of life is so textured and infinite in nature than only a fractal of it is reached at the moment I typed the words above. |

Thanks for the heads up, sincerely. I don't take too much, I promise. I take much less than the bottle suggests. I take two of them twice a day at most and take them when I feel like it, not really daily. The bottle says three times a day. The multi is like a half of one of the mag. vitamins per serving (which is two of those and I take only one) That may be slightly confusing. Sorry about that. This isn't an SAT or IQ test. How much am I taking if one magnesium has 200mg and the multivitamin has 50mg?
DevWal, I'm not from another dimension. I perceive more than three spatial dimensions because I can decompress the 4th and lower 5th dimensions and sense it as space that has no time. You are thinking of alternate or parallel universes and calling it a dimension, IMO.
I'm eager to check out the 2011 Rush remasters from 1974-1989. REALLY interested in the alternate mix of HYF that is being marketed like it is the same mix as before when it isn't. It's not like I have to enjoy it. The sound quality of the 97 albums was perfect IMO. These can only be better and I hear they are the best available, period. Mildly upset that a good copy of FBN isn't "floating around." Not this time guys. I bought 5 copies of the Rush remasters, each, I think I'm due for a free upgrade to these remasters. I never tried the MFSL Signals, so I'm gonna give that a shot. I wasn't impressed by the frequency response of the MP 48Khz 24-bit. It seemed like it had more of a treble roll off than the other versions, which makes no good audio sense. I'll look again. Eventually I'll find the 96Khz version though, which I don't even think is necessary since the Nyquist doesn't even seem to hit 24Khz from what I recall for that album. |

I feel grumpy today, but am making progress. Once it's all said and done there's going to be an awful lot of options, like a 10-string guitar with about 60 frets. You know, with the differences based on the thickness and tension of the strings. As you can imagine, this is slightly more difficult than playing a six string.
The Rush remasters were slightly louder and that automatically makes them superior because of the greater detail the waveforms represent. The EQ was so close that there isn't anything to discuess there, the instruments were slightly cleaner this time around, but everything sounds the same. I didn't hesitate to delete the old versions. If I had to venture a guess, the digitization process was almost certainly handled better because these all seem to be devoid of weird tricks that were used to make digital less "harsh" sounding. I think the old ones were dithered under past assumptions that basically made for a worse sound.
Rush fans are generally crazy. I have found scant evidence of ANY of their albums have remarkable different sound quality or tone other than other people's insistance on various pressings having this or that. They are all very close, even the audiophile stuff is basically the same. So all in all, ]superficially the same, technically better.
The one thing that is different is there are additional keyboards in Hold Your Fire that are VERY understated but clearly audible that improve those songs by quite a bit. All those flourishes Power Windows were famous for. I don't even wanna hear the old stuff. It sound bare bones. After one listen of the new "Mission" the old one sounded like horseshit and I missed the extra parts. Somebody grew some balls and decided to make a real classic even better. |

| The house has been really stressful in the past few months but it has peaked in the past few days. It's great timing because my finals are coming up so the more stress the better!! Fucking hell. What would I give for a day of peace for a day! |

What's wrong with your house?
Do u really like being stressed or r u being sarcastic?
I hate being stressed, can't work that way. It's one of the main reasons I smoke weed, to be relaxed and more creative in my work. |

No, it was a sarcastic comment. Well, my mom hasn't been in full health recently due to some complications which is not perfectly clear in the present moment. My sister has migraines more than half of the days in a month which can be categorized as chronic migraines. It's really hard to deal with them sometimes, although, both my mom and my sister are extremely strong people and persevere through all their suffering. Nonetheless, we sometimes struggle. However, generally the atmosphere of the house is very pleasant, warm, and full of laughter. It's just sometimes it really heats up but that's perfectly natural with all households. All is good. Cheers for asking, Alex. |

You should count yourself lucky. I couldn't stand my family, so I moved out as fast as I could. |

I consider myself very lucky, indeed! My family is great. The fact of the matter is, we do have our difficulties but that is quite natural and without it life would be very monotonous and without any flux. Either way, I will be graduating in less than two years; so moving will follow naturally when I have a stable job that pays decently. |

I've drunk too much diet coke and am now awake at 3am. Wish I wasn't sober, or quietly obsessed with Soulfly at the moment. _________________ |

Just got back from a a visit with my family and I have a splitting headache. Anyone ever flown with sinus congestion and gotten a terribly painful headache during the decent from landing? God it was awful, like someone pushing needles behind my eyes....
But it was a great visit, Aaron did awesome with his first flight (3 comments of "wow, didn't even know there was a baby on board" which is the highest complement a child can receive while flying). Good to be home! |

I just experienced the same thing last week. We were flying back from Utah to North Carolina and I had contracted this wicked sinus infection (in fact I'm still dealing with it) which plagued me for my entire week of vacation. When the plane descended on final approach the sudden pressure and pain in my forehead near my left eye was tremendous and excruciating. I thought that I was experiencing an aneurysm or something similar because the pain was just incredible. It took hours before it subsided. I'll never fly again with a sinus infection/cold. Brutal!!
I also found out that I can't deal with moving to high altitudes quickly on that trip. We left one park which was at an elevation of about 3,500 ft. and then drove to an elevation of 9,000 ft within 2 hours. Whoa did I ever pay for that. Headache, nausea, a bit of delirium, and I couldn't catch my breath. So, we stayed one night and the next morning drove back down to a lower elevation. |

Yep, that is exactly what I had. Going to do some research of ways to get around it because I tend to fly often, and if this is going to be a regular thing I need to figure it out. |

starting a really shitty job tomorrow.
it's a 6 month thing, a really mechanical task that really doesn't make use of the fact that i have an awesome internship and master's degree, and it pays shit, but it's an unbelievably tough job market right now.
i've had tons of interviews with big name companies and all that, but i've bungled them all. i think my biggest problem is how i come across as very awkward on initial encounters, before becoming really at ease... i'm joining a fairly large company so i hope to use this as sort of very long interview so they can see the best of me, and get a proper full-time contract or at the very least a recommendation i can use in the future.
my family was a bit pissed that this is all i could get, but i told them that between doing this (getting paid and getting a good name on my CV) and doing nothing for a few more months, the choice was easy. time to toughen up and get my hands dirty. |
