| I've been listening to this album a lot lately. Definitely one of my favourite metal albums. |

Definitely a timeless album. And aside from Bathory, infintitely better than anything that bore the tag Black Metal after it.
The only comment I didn't agree with was about musicianship - it's kind of irrelevant given the impact and influence of this album (just like Carcass' Reek of Putrefaction).
But Cronos' bass is evil! |

You really should listen to some Darkthrone and Gorgoroth. |

Both at best rate a "meh" in my book. Darkthrone especially suck donkey bollocks IMO. |

| Dead, you obviously have no taste nor an appreciation for Black Metal. But you have mentioned that many times before so it comes as no surprise. |

| It's why I don't consider Venom or Bathory as Black Metal. Love both bands but don't like Black Metal. |

I never understood why everyone thought Venom were just a bunch of talentless hacks.
Sure, they weren't Dream Theater in terms of instrument ability, but they influenced thousands of bands and they made raw simple songs with great riffs.
Cheers to Venom, and this album. |

| I was a HUGE fan of Venom when this came out (I still have the original vynl), and it was a great follow-up tho the great WTH. I can remember endlessly singing the low, creepy and then loud, powerful lyrics to "Buried Alive" about a million times. Hail Venom!!! |
