It's not my band.
A friend showed me the album Riffhead. I laughed my ass off (look at the retarded cover). Then he said, "Just listen." So I did...and it's fucking killer! Progressive, thrashy, sometimes like old Queensryche. It's just awesome.
Like I said, the vocals are the weakest part, but even those aren't horrible. I'm posting the link because these albums are apparently wicked rare, especially the second one. |

| It sounds kind of interesting. I'll post some comments later after I hear it. I think as long a singer is singing on key and pitch, with decent weight to the individual notes and there are no glaring tonal problems from poor technique (like a shrill and brittle voice *coughjohnarch*), male vocals generally never bother me, I don't seem to have near as much of a problem with "tone" as some people do, but I am much more critical of technique than anyone, so It will be interesting to see what the guy sounds like. |
