Every attack on OWS demonstrators is belied by the fact that if not most of the time, the very nature of protest is a very incendiary one- they are challenging the vested 'authority' of the cops and in varying circumstances in this golden age of streaming and live feed cameras are bound to be present. Memory recalls the most obvious case of that one officer spraying the students faces at Berkley, and while this to the ever vigilant left is divine intervention for a photo op and of course a chance for these communists, freeloaders, and lechers to "flip one to the man" one must bear in mind the very tenets of the OWS movement is without a doubt socialism absolute. There is no other way around this looking at their at present now "revised" list of demands, shows a patently usurious and intellectually bankrupt movement of people that want to shove the tried and failed doctrine of equality on everyone else. |

So the protesters deserved to be pepper sprayed because their beliefs are a challenge to authority? wtf dude.
Occupy Victoria got kicked out and now there's a skating rink and Christmas lights there haha. |

I said that they are challenging the 'authority' of the cops, and this will not end well for them- nowhere in my post did I give moral legitimacy to the police. |

Challenging authority means authority can do whatever the fuck it wants to you? They are calling for a change in the political system which on all accounts is pretty fucking vague. The Tea Party, however, used to rant about how Obama was an illegitimate president with the birther bullshit and used to have signs saying shit like "I'd use my gun before the govt took it away". Where were the police then? That shit is blatantly more anti-authority against both the govt and the pres when compared to Occupy who is simply asking for a dialogue and calling for more popular participation in politics, shit that the founding fathers asked for. Oh my god, I just cited the Founding Fathers now nobody can argue against it amirite?

| All of the GOP candidates are nothing but sideshows, and to be blatantly honest as much as I love Ron Paul's positions he cannot defeat Obama. Romney will run against Paul and play the fact he is essentially "moderate" on all issues, and even Romney will lose to Obama when you consider the minority vote and other issues. We're fucked with another four years of Obama. |

The media falling in love with Santorum is hilarious. Of course they want Santourum to win the nomination: Palin would have had a better chance against Obama. |

| Ron Paul is just a devil's advocate. He's there to make the Alex Jones crowd think they have someone sticking up for them. He is as much as a puppet as any other, whether he realizes that or not. |
