You have good taste? Don't mind it, but it'd sound better if they dropped the BM pretence and went pure post-metal or whatever. _________________ |

| The new Liturgy is getting it's just fruits by receiving a thrashing wherever metalheads congregate. My coworker who primarily indulges in old school USPM and NWOBHM even hates the album |

Within Temptation - The unforgiving
Protest the Hero - Scurrilous
Novembers Doom - Aphotic
Evergrey - Glorious Collision
Rise Against - End Game
Stratovarius - Elysium
I really like the new Scar Symmetry but I seriously doubt it will end on my best of 2011 list |

Same here. It might end up somewhere at the bottom but I highly doubt it since there are still 6 more months to go. It's a great album though, way better than Dark Matter Dimensions. |

| I think people might be overlooking it a bit, but Evergrey-Glorious Collision is seriously growing on me. Tom Englund is in top form, and it just seems much more consistent and solid than their last 3. |

Th musicianship is fairly good to very good at some points; but I don't see how they have impressed you so much since they sound very generic and a million other bands sound the same as Sylosis. To each their own I guess... |

My only complaint is it's too long. |

Hmmm... Yeah that can be annoying sometimes. Have you bought your tickets for the Septicflesh show? |

Just now checking the new Liturgy out and Veins of God is sticking out to me as pretty awesome. I think I'll like this album. The Returner track was kinda goofy. _________________ http://www.last.fm/user/traptunderice |

| Looking through this thread has made me realise how little new music I've been listening to this year. The only albums I can think of are Fallen by Burzum, which was brilliant and The World Is Yours by Moterhead which was a solid release as you would expect. |
