Hard to say if he is being ironic at times. I do think it is hilarious that he claims to have not heard Drudkh but instead advocates listening to The Cure. Yeah, I like The Cure too...but c'mon.

Most of these guys don't listen to metal anymore. I suppose it is because it is what they do...still it seems unfortunate. |

Great interview. I loved the western civilization question.
@goat you should try to interview fenriz. He may be the coolest guy in music. Seems like a super cool guy anyway from the documentaries I've watched. A lot of these guys listen to things that wouldn't be expected. Plus I don't think many of them would admit to listening to other black metal bands considering they probably feel like they are the ones who started the second wave and all. And the way they all think their band is best. I'm sure they do though. |
