Howdy.

Make sure to review something like The Prodigy or The Depeche Mode ASAP.

Nothing up this week, alas, but his work to date is here -

Again, my fault for not pointing it out sooner to y'all. Hopefully the two will be able to cover a variety of ground between them, certainly got different tastes!

Actually a Prodigy review might not be amiss here...

Have you heard some of their stuff? They're hardly an electro outfit anymore, at this point it's like punk with electronic instruments. I'm pretty sure stuff like Fat of the Land or Music for the Jilted Generation had a massive influence in industrial metal.

Sharp-eyed viewers will note that FrigidSymphony no longer writes for this publication.

But to answer the point - meh. Industrial Metal was around long before the Prodigy were. More like the other way around.

Hey, this is Cory. I have been posting here and there, but recently work has been taking back control of my life so I havent been active in the last couple of weeks.

On the plus side I have both Keldian albums up for review next week, and I have been listening to Beardfish and some other material as well for the future.

I am not as knowledgeble of Death Metal/Doom/Black as many others on the site, so I wont focus too much on those, but anything else is certainly fair game so please make recommendations.

Finally, I would appreciate any constructive criticism to help improve my work.

They are really good from what I have heard so far. A melting pot of influences, hard rock to metal to jazz, etc.... Great easy listening music.

Since you and Fridge responded, I'll not that I was being at least half-ironic with my comment. I don't dislike The Prodigy, and I love Depeche Mode. Thanks a bunch for these covers.
