Haha, yes. It's probably something silly like 'draw a picture of the band' anyways.

I wouldn't bother doing that for any band TBH, but Lamb of God are definitely not a band I'm going to go apeshit about as soon as I hear they're going to make a new album.

Well I'm not sure why many people dislike Lamb of God. Is it because they're metalcore? Are they even Metalcore? Well I don't really enjoy them much and I used to wonder why. Do I dislike them because I simply can't get into them, or because they're metalcore, or if they're not metalcore...it's because they're so loved by the metalcore fags. Ah fuck it. Questions have just been fuckin with me the whole week I'm not gonna bother bout it.

But a free USB? Mmmm....creative.

Way back when they first started out they were labeled death metal. There are some that even called them Nu Metal.

Now they are either labeled as Metalcore or Groove metal.

Well I think I know why I can't get into them. I think Randy's vocals are pretty thin and a big turn off.

i enjoy LOG ultimately because they kick major ass live. its not really metalcore in my book its just highly aggressive groove metal. pretty much the continuation of pantera. still im pretty excited to hear what this new album sounds like they have been pretty solid so far.

im curious, where is the core in their sound? they might have some breakdowns here and there but certainly not the type you hear in metalcore bands. suffocation uses breakdowns, they are not labeled metalcore even in the slightest.

I was physically pissed off while seeing them live. Their douchebag fans are retarded when they're moshing, like slamming into women and people smaller than them, mainly just people that didn't want to mosh. At the concert I went to people started throwing shit like beer and pop bottles and clumps of mud into the air towards other people.

Oh and Randy sucks.

Moshing is not an option, it's mandatory. That's the tag/finishing line for most of the gig flyers over here. Personally I feel moshing is an option. To mosh or not to mosh is up to the individual. I like moshing, but not all the time. And I don't think people who don't mosh are cowards at all. In fact over here, we have a lot of hard core metal fans who don't mosh. It's simply because we just like to watch the band play and headbang to it. It's just like when Kreator played here, I didn't mosh at all. I just headbanged and watched them play. My friends however, moshed and they regretted it because they missed watching all the fun parts of the songs. Then when we went to watch Slayer, a must-mosh-to-band by international standards, we didn't. And we enjoyed it. We got to see how they played and I guess it's a form of respect for a band who we'd probably see only once in our lives in this part of the world. If bands like Maiden or Priest were to play here, I can bet you there wouldn't even be any headbanging. All of us would just stand in awe.

Oh, speaking of moshing, I still can't figure out the hardcore (the genre) style of moshing. It's like disco dancing with karate chops. Funny.

heh, sorry to hear you had shitty experience like that. i have seen them multiple times and it mostly turned into a headbang fest and the occasional circle pit but never anything like that. still i think randy is a strong vocalist on stage even if he sounds nothing like he does on the albums haha. he can command a crowd like no other. it was mostly just a fun experience though, beer + log hasnt failed me yet

I like their stuff, it's great but there are much better bands out there. The worst thing about them are the poser Metal Hammer reading fans they have.

Will anything this year beat The Formation of Damnation?

Hieronymous Bosch, Nachtmystium, Arghoslent, Enslaved, Moonspell, Motorhead. Why is the new Testament valued so highly?

Because simply it's the best thrash album that came out this year.
