Zad, no offense or anything, but I don't feel this thread is really necessary.

If anybody wants to post about their latest metal purchase(s), they should just post in the respective "Recent Purchases" sticky corresponding to whichever genre their purchase(s) was/were in. An all-purpose "Recent Purchases" thread seems kind of pointless, and it would probably just get too big eventually. May be I'm missing something here (were you getting a lot of complaints about all these "Recent Purchases" threads?), but right now, I really see no need.

What we should REALLY have IMO is a "Recent Purchases" thread for genres that wouldn't even fit into the "Borderline genres" forum. Such as if somebody purchased "Buddy Holly's Greatest Hits" or "The Best Of Mozart."
