That is a slap in the face to a good band like Flowing Tears. They sound like Lacuna Coil made by Americans with an eye for radio songs, just like the newest Lacuna Coil.

No. Then you realize you're a trendster and that makes you sad inside, so you pretend like it sucks ass. Keep it real, dog.

Evanescence > you.

They don't sound like To/Die/For? Are you insane.

That Bring me to Life is a great song to get a lap dance too though.

No. I'm not. To/Die/For have the same exact big chord progressions. Take away the vocals for each band and they're not very different.

By the way, the new To/Die/For is awesome!

EDIT: The new Evanescence is pretty damn awesome, if you ask me.

Dude you are totally fuckin insane or tone deaf. I refuse to even discuss this with you. What fucking To/Die/For album are you talking about? I haven't heard their latest but the first 3.......come on, even you are not that crazy.

Flowing Tears? What the fuck they sound like mid period Gathering.

Next you are going to say they sound like a combination of Crematory and Darkseed or some insane shit.

I have that Evanescence album and it isn't that bad but damn dude you are just delusional now. In fact the only Euro shit that sounds close to it is maybe the new Within Temptation but her vocals are much better.

Yeah yeah, stop dissing good bands with your weird obsession with defending every 3rd rate mainstream band in the US.

Tone progression....ha ha. I think you better go get an ear doctor to give you tone progression check up since you obviously have lost your hearing.

Dude, if Evanescence came out of Finland and never hit the US mainstream, are you telling me they'd still get so much shit? Pffft! "Mainstream" is the key word here.

Yes, Evanescence are not very different from Flowing Tears, my friend. And they have similarities to To/Die/For. To deny this is silly.

And for the record, shockingly the new Evanescence album is darker, heavier and far less radio-friendly. The lead-off single is not indicative of the rest of the album, which won't have nearly as many hit singles as the last one; likely the reason "Call Me When You're Sober" is the lead-off single—it's a you-broke-my-heart type of song that will appeal to young suicidal girls. The album on a whole, however, is pretty kick ass!

I fail to see how that song would put anyone in the mood while receiving a lap dance

As for the new album by evanesence, i heard the first single "sober"?...on the radio. Not bad, but i can tell its a song i will get sick of rather quickly. If this is what to expect, then they havent changed much since their last album, except become more radio friendly....

I'll pass, thanks

That song is the worst on the album. Like I said, this album is far less radio-friendly, darker and heavier than Fallen. And Amy Lee's voice sounds awesome! Check this song out:

lol. So now they're trying to appeal to suicidal girls? They should just listen to Alice Coopers Hey Stoopid (kickass album btw). Fucking awesome anti-suicide title song.

It's a break-up song, about her relationship with the dude from Seether. So it's just a bit too blatant, you know? There's no mystery in the lyrics. Young girls will relate if they've gotten dumped, or banged by a meathead that never calls them again, etc. It's a good song, but pretty much the only guaranteed radio hit on the album.

Yeah, they dated for a while, but apparently he only called her when he was drunk. What a retard!

I like some Alice Cooper, but not much. I tend to find him overrated.

Did anyone listen to that song I uploaded?

Hey Stoopid is a pretty recent one... it's got some cool guest stars, like Joe Satriani doing some solos and Ozzy on some choruses... I think Slash shows up somewhere too...

i'll listen to it tomorrow.

Well, it's not like they could have spent much time together. In true male fashion he was probably banging groupies after the show, not concerned with her, then when they booted the groupies off the tour bus he'd call her. And she was likely being a good girl, waiting for his call. O', woe be the trials of love.

It is a cool song for that, trust me. Another great one is Love me to Death from Type-o and This corrosion from the Sisters of Mercy.
