The Sodom war machine rolls out it's best album in years. Definitely worth a listen if Ze Germans ever tickled your thrash fancy.

this record is so good! I feel like they kind of fell off after this one (Merrimack) but there's some good shit on their next two records. They have a new one coming out in June so hopefully it's good.

Some very solid, thrashy goodness on this one with Post American World, Poisonous Shadows and the title track being worthy of attention. A nice rebound for Dave and the boys from the less than stellar Super Collider. Ex-Angra shredder Kiko Loureiro and LoG skinsmen Chris Adler bring some much needed fresh blood to the Megadeth machine and should have longtime fans excited for the upcoming tour (myself included).

Been a long time since I listened to this one. Musically complex, lyrically provocative and way ahead of it's time, it's easy to see why so many fans were scratching their heads when this record came out on the heels of their more accessible (and commercially successful) debut. The excessive oddness cost the band guitarist Jim Martin but gave the world a schizophrenic alt-metal classic. A young Serj Tankian was clearly taking notes.
